Shenzhou-8 chasing down Tiangong-1

A beautiful view in the early morning sky of California this today as China's space station, Tiangong-1 passed overhead, with Shenzhou-8 following close behind.  The two craft will attempt China's first docking in space later today.

This view is looking south east with the spacecraft heading down and left.  Tiangong-1 is in the lead.
